Club Tropik is on this Friday 10th July. We then take a Summer break until Friday 28th August, when Club Tropik will return as a monthly event in a new format on the last Friday of every month. More details coming soon!

Club Tropik is a Friday night party at Loom in Fitzrovia promoted by tropikalmusic.co.uk events. From 7pm to 9pm there is a Kizomba dance class with Miguel Monteiro & Studio Afro-Latino teachers. At 9pm the party starts, with DJ Marito & guests playing Kizomba, Zouk, Reggaeton, Salsa, Merengue, Kuduro, Semba, Funana, Samba, Soukous, N'Dombolo, Coupe Decale, Dancehall/Bashment, Soca, RnB, Hip Hop & all Latin, African, Caribbean & Urban Tropical sounds until 2am.

Seating Reservations

Directions to Loom
By Tube (Metro) you can go to Great Portland Street or Oxford Circus stations. From Great Portland Street station you walk south on Great Portland Street. Clipstone Street is the 2nd street on the left. From Oxford Circus station you walk north on Great Portland Street (next to Top Shop). Clipstone Street is the 10th street on the right. Click on venue location map on the left for a map of the location, a good idea is to print out the map & take it with you!

Parking
Parking is easy to find near Loom. It is free after 6.30pm on parking meters or on single yellow lines and after 8.30pm you can also park free in residents' parking bays.

The 6th June Rumba Caribe with special guest DJ Halan was another great party! After two excellent guest appearances DJ Halan will now be a resident DJ at Rumba Caribe. The next date for Rumba Caribe @ Departure is Saturday 5th September and the remaining 2009 date for Rumba Caribe @ Departure is Saturday 5th December (the venue for the 2009/2010 Rumba Caribe New Years Eve Party will be announced in due course).

Rumba Caribe is a Saturday night tropical music party presenting top Latin, Caribbean & African DJs in a stylish club with a bass heavy sound system & plenty of room to dance. Directions to Departure
By Tube (Underground/Metro) you can go to Aldgate or Tower Hill stations. From Aldgate station you cross the road (Aldgate High Street), turn right and then take the second road on the left (Jewry Street). After 50 metres you will see Departure on the left just as the street becomes Crutched Friars. From Tower Hill station you turn right on to Coopers Row. After going under the railway bridge the street curves to the right and becomes Crutched Friars (do not take the sharp right turn). Departure is on the right a few metres up. For information on buses to the venue and on night buses from the venue click on the links on the left. Click on venue location map on the left for a map of the location, a good idea is to print out the map & take it with you!
